There are differences between laser printer and ink cartridges. You can’t just buy any cartridge and expect it to work in your printer. You have to know what kind of printer you have. A laser printer uses a powdery, carbon-based substance rather than ink, which is chemically fused to the paper. You save time with laser printer’s ability to rapidly print hundreds of pages. Although inkjet printers and inkjet cartridges are more affordable, laser printers don’t run out of toner until after thousands of printing. So you save on money. You may want to investigate alternatives to buying ink and toner cartridges that bear the printer manufacturer’s brand, as these can be costly over time. One alternative is to buy remanufactured cartridges.
