For graphical designers who also ply their trade amongst illustration and advertisements, a salary of $90,000 is also achievable.
Web designers (front end coding): A front end web designer, is one who is competent with the use of website scripts such as Css and html. The construction of most web pages which are available online is thus handled by them. Earning more than most graphical designers, a front end web designer earns salary figures between $40,000 and $70,000. A web designer who is also competent with graphic design will be able to push his annual earnings even higher.
Web programmers: Web programmers are simply that, designers who are called on write complex programs which guide the running of many websites. For instance, consider the coding which is required to run popular sites like Google and Yahoo correctly. Programmers of this nature are amongst the highest earning and can earn as much as $100,000 depending on the company in which they work for.
Other factors, some of which include the size of his company and experience level, also affect the amount a web designer can earn.
