Over the last decade the internet has become one of the most popular developments in technology. Though many of us now just take the internet for granted, a few decades back, networking of this scale was not only unheard of, it was unimaginable. Today the uses of websites are for various purposes. Advertising a company’s product, university students accessing their universities’ file servers, social networking are all done through web sites. Suggestions, search bars and blogs are common amongst WebPages which require feedbacks from its customers.There are websites which will support additional functions and features for the purpose of networking. Whether it is to make new friends or message a current friend, Facebook users are encouraged to “keep in touch” with as many friends as possible.

There will eb a specific web designer who will take part in designing the web page. Taking in to account all the factors, a web designer must come up with the most suitable layout of the site in order to gain the highest possible number of user visits. The placement of each picture or video should be carefully done, by the web designer, as it can affect the number of times either is viewed.

To suit the purpose and to match the audience the colors and fonts should be chosen. For an example an elderly person would prefer a slightly larger fonts. The web designer’s job also includes creating a theme for the site that gives a site its uniqueness.

In recent years being a web designer has become much easier than it used to be. They don’t have to have fluency in HTML and etc to be successful. There are many simple tools which are available nowadays for the purpose of web designing, which will make life easier for many beginners in the field of web designing.
